Kenya has one of the most diverse species of wildlife in the world. Unfortunately the open spaces animals were used to dwelling in are becoming smaller. Humans are invading what was wildlife corridors, using it for homesteads and farming spaces. There is a rise in human/wildlife conflict as these spaces become smaller. It’s important that we find ways to protect the declining animal numbers, while ensuring that humans are able to keep their families provided for.
